We care about what we are doing, how we are doing it and we want to lead by example and impact our environment in a positive way! As a business, we are constantly evolving and growing and we have introduced a sustainability programme that we are constantly expanding on and building upon whereby we can ensure we are doing the best to minimise waste, reduce and recycle!
Doing our bit for packaging: Who said receiving beauty or press products has to be so wasteful. The Publicity Loft make a concerted effort not use any unnecessary packaging with press drop distribution where possible and use recycled materials for packaging going forward.
Recycling at home: The Publicity Loft are happy to send a recycling bag your way to allow you to recycle your packages from us without taking over your recycling bin, if you need a bag please email a member of the team and we will send one your way. Currently this option is only available in Dublin, with collection point locations for Galway and Cork. As a team The Publicity Loft are currently looking into options to roll out this initiative nationwide.
Collection Option: With a city centre location we are happy to provide a ‘call in and collect’ service offering Press/bloggers/Influencers based in Dublin the opportunity to call in at a time when suits to collect press drops and bring home in a recycled Tote bag. Given current Covid restrictions, this can only be done by appointment at present.
We have been listening loud and clear and understand that you receive so much product from brands far and near (sometimes products that you’ll never use and result in giving away) so we’ve put together a Publicity Loft wish list where you can choose what products you’re actually interested in trying and testing. Of course, if there are particular new launches for our brands, all will be sent your way. The Publicity Loft Wishlist simply ensures that in between new product launches, we are sending you the product you actually want from our brands ensuring no waste! Each month a mailer will be sent out allowing you to select your desired products and they will be sent your way in one package.
Our press drops are sent out using biodegradable nuggets only, recyclable and reusable packaging and gifting.
In 2020 we are announcing our advisory board, working with experts in recycling, environmental science, climate change and reforesting partners to help us become a better version of ourselves in how we conduct our business within a planet we care for. Watch this space!
In return, we ask one thing, if you do avail of the above services – collection option or wish list and receive multiple brands at the one time we request that if showing on social media you space out the brands to ensure they all have their own air time! We know we’re not perfect just yet, but we are making a conscious effort to take steps in the right direction and really appreciate your feedback.
